I hope everyone is ready for a nice long weekend. What's a better way to enjoy your four days off than with a great romantic movie?

Midnight in Paris stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams, directed by Woody Allen. It is a romantic comedy about a family on a business trip in the City of Light. As a young couple engaged to be married experiences a profound transformation during their visit to Paris, an idealistic man with a romanticized view of the city finds that there's plenty of truth to that old adage about the grass being greener on the other side.

Dinner at RIS and a movie with our neighbors, the West End Cinema... The perfect post-turkey treat.

It's supposed to be a gorgeous weekend outside, true fall temperatures that will make you forget last weekend's Halloween Snow. What's a better plan than dinner and a movie? Here at RIS, Saturday Night is Date Night, with our delicious Short Ribs special.

After enjoying some dinner and Chef Chris's Sweet Potato Pumpkin Crumb Cake, take a leisurely stroll down the street for a great flick! Now playing at West End Cinema at 23rd St, NW (between M and N), it's DRIVE.

Ryan Gosling stars as a Los Angeles wheelman for hire, stunt driving for movie productions by day and steering getaway vehicles for armed heists by night. Though a loner by nature, Driver can't help falling in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan), a vulnerable young mother dragged into a dangerous underworld by the return of her ex-convict husband Standard (Oscar Isaac).

After a heist intended to pay off Standard's protection money spins unpredictably out of control, Driver finds himself driving defense for the girl he loves, tailgated by a syndicate of deadly serious criminals (Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman). But when he realizes that the gangsters are after more than the bag of cash in his trunk-that they're coming straight for Irene and her son-Driver is forced to shift gears and go on offense.
After dinner, stop back in for a nightcap... we're open until 11. Call for reservations today, and book your tickets online here! It's a classic Saturday night, all within walking distance.

Why not celebrate beer and sausage even after Octoberfest? Join the AIWF at RIS for an event featuring charcuterie from two of the DC area's best producers and beer from AIWF's favorite local brewery, Bill Butcher's Port City Brewing Company. Guest Chef Nate Auchter will be in our kitchen for the evening preparing a delicious meal for this special event.

Port City's Optimal Wit will be poured during the cocktail hour, and we’ll sample some delicious sausages from Stanley Feder’s "Simply Sausage". Then we will dine on a three-course menu prepared with charcuterie and sausages from Stanley, and Mitch Berliner’s Meat Crafters. Each course will be paired with Port City’s great beer.

Celebrate Fall with some delicious food! Get your tickets before they're sold out.
